Q: Why you accepted the role in Terms of Endearment, do you think you have the charm for the said mature role?

SIG: It’s a cute role! It’s probably not accepted by society when a man lives in the kind of situation like in the movie. What urged me to accept the role is that man portrays so much love for the woman and the sons. The sacrifice is extremely a big factor.

Q: Was there a point where you had difficulties in performing the role?
SIG: I don’t have any experience with marriage yet and no experience with raising a child. Perhaps it’s one of the most difficult to portray. .. but what matters is how you perform and I think anyone can make it possible with the help of the team.

Q: If you love someone, will you give your all entirely? And will you not regret it?
SIG: Acceptance matters… if you accept everything about the person you love, no way you’ll regret later. But nothing compares to the beautiful love of a parent to his child.

Q: Ideal type of a woman?
SIG: Sensitive to just everything. Outward appearance is not important. I need someone who can lead me. Because I am not very smart, I need to choose one who can lead my way.

With the way SIG handles and answers interviews I don’t think he’s not smart. But a man who is humble enough to acknowledge he needs help from a woman is quite rare. Many men have over-inflated ego. I am not right girls?

You should watch the Terms of Endearment. You said you find SIG’s hands sexy (I still can’t comprehend how hands can be sexy, but he has nice hands). You will see lots of his hands there. My favorite was when he touched and tried to collect the rain with his hands (with his love interest). It was so sweet and romantic. Do you own the fan listing site? The design’s quite sophisticated.

sorry if it seems like I left you “hanging” in the air after your last message to me…I’m glad you’ve got that new work now, and doing private English tutorial as your sideline (if I’m not mistaken?). You know, I really think that’s it’s high time that many (if not all) Korean celebrities should learn English…I mean, Korean actors/singers/shows are becoming real famous worldwide. Just look at Rain…wow, he’s been holding concerts at various places, even in US! ^_^ I’m sure you’re learning more about yourself by doing this tutorial…Korean kids are so cute…

thank you so much for that wonderful info…it’s so nice to know that Song Il Guk can speak English…I’ve only heard him utter the word “banker” in The Art of Seduction, but I fell in love with him more anyway! ^_^ I hope we can get some clip somewhere of him speaking English, so we can see for ourselves how well he’s really doing ^_^
